I can reveal...

...that there will be a Crafty Individuals stamp in the very near future (June issue in fact), and it's gorgeous!

Thanks for all your comments and feedback, have a great weekend!

A good day

I had a fun (if rather tiring) day yesterday visiting the offices of Design Objectives (probably better known to you as Do-Crafts). They were hosting an open day for the press, showing us all the yummy new goodies coming up in the coming months. There are a few new releases which look very exciting that we are not able to show you yet, and I was pleased that there are some more sophisticated and elegant looks in the pipeline for future releases.

We had a lovely day which included three workshops - beading in the morning (blimey, that took me back, I haven't made jewellery for at least 15 years), and cardmaking in the afternoon including a bit of resist stamping with Clare Curd (who is just such a sweetie) to keep me happy!

Fifteen hour day, so I've got bags under my eyes this morning(!), but certainly worth it.

See you soon,

More help!

Hello again,

Well, thank you so much for your comments on the last post. Input is so very helpful!

I've already got a masterclass coming up on Tim's distress products (July issue) so watch out for that! I've noted all your ideas and commissioned a watercolouring and paint project already for you. Some of the other ideas will certainly be used as well.

As you've been soooooooooooooo helpful to me, I'd like to ask for your feedback again today.

WHICH BRITISH STAMP COMPANIES WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE DESIGNING OUR COVER MOUNT IN FUTURE ISSUES? Please leave me a comment and your wish may be granted.

I've lost my mojo so I have nothing creative to show you - cue violins please - but I did receive this beautiful RAK from one of our DT members Carol Quance. Isn't it lovely? Thank you so much for brightening up my day Carol.

See you soon,

Katy

Have your say

Hello all,
Today I've been working on a little project for a future issue, and working on a step-by-step technique. That got me thinking - what techniques would you like to see covered in future step-by-step tutorials or masterclasses in CS?

Leave me a comment, and your wish may be granted in a future issue!

Best wishes,
Katy

New mag, new challenge!

Morning all,
APRIL ISSUE SKETCH CHALLENGE

April issue hits the shelves today (visit the Craft Stamper website for a peek at the contents), and so it's time for a new Sketch Challenge!

Here's the sketch. Just make something, anything you like, based on the sketch and leave a comment with a link.

There is candy for the winner (selected at random) - this month we are giving away these lovely Papermania mini stamp sets, as seen on the 'First Impressions' page, kindly donated by Do-Crafts.

I'll announce the March winner next week, so keep an eye out :o).

Have a great weekend all.

More reader work

Hello all,
I spent all weekend landscaping my front garden this weekend, so no creations of my own to show you this week. Here are a couple of links to some lovely reader projects I came across:

Jo's work, inspired by Jenny Moors One of a Kind wallet project:

And Anesha's lovely ATC created with the free rose stamp from March issue:
